So I get to hang out with sister Jamie and family. Big sister Jaylee is growing up quickly. She’s talking, walking, screaming and everything else you can think of. Little Lucas sleeps all day. When he’s done with that, it’s time to eat. Then back to sleeping for the little guy. Grandma Katy had lots of fun. They ended up going to the zoo before I got there. Jaylee got to feed a giraffe some food. She didn’t like the tongue from it, and chose not to feed it again. Jaylee got to go on the park quite a bit. She loves the slide and to push people down it. Dad says he’s coming town near the end of the month. Who knows if it will actually happen.

Santa’s Great Gift

So usually everyone gets either a “great” gifts for christmas. On my 12th day of Christmas, I got food poisoning. Everyone on my mom’s side of the family got sick. With some exceptions: Jamie, Rylan, Jaylee and “Father Time”.

Lucky for them, they weren’t present at the time. A whole day off sitting on the couch, wanting to get better. It was quite fun having Dad play the uhh… “Dad” roll. Reminded me of being little and getting everything brought to me. Still makes me laugh.

Alright, so I know that I haven’t updated this thing in quite some time. I noticed that my dearest cousin has updated her page. So here I am giving an update. Knowing me, it will be the last one for a while. But here we go. Haven’t really had anything new. Work, the gym(gained a whole 20 lbs of muscles), and some news that my sister is having another baby. Yahoo!

Halloween was quite fun. I dressed up as Gregory House for work. Yes work lets us dress up, as if we were still 5 years of age.

I was forced into having to get new contacts. Also ended up with new glasses. *Two giant thumbs up*. Dad still hasn’t got back into blogging. Just today got good news that I will FINALLY have Thanksgiving day off. I get to spend time with those that love me. And sadly miss others that do as well.

Had a good vacation during the summer. Got to spend time with: sister Jamie, bro-in-law Rylan, niece Jaylee, cousin Josie, “best friend” Katie, Gma & Gpa, Uncles, Aunts and everyone from here to there, and most importantly, Jackie Green.

Okay, can’t think of anything else right now so….

Vacation

So I got back from vacation on Saturday 8-23-08. I had a blast the whole time I was gone. I got to see: my sister, my bro-in-law, the baby, my cousin, my best friend, my aunts, my uncles, my gma and my gpa and everyone else in between. I had a whole lot of fun while I was out. I got to go out and do things that I would not normally do. Lots of time in “the lake”, wake boarding, watching horse shows, playing board games, going to concerts were just a few things I got to do. It went by way too fast, but it makes me ready for next year.

A giant “thank you” to everyone that was involved.

Gym/Room

Ok, so a couple of months ago, i decided that I would start taking the gym a little serious. This picture was about 3 months ago. Since then, I have been working about a bit more. Help from my buddies and them demanding to be going helps out. I don’t just say I’m going to go, and then not show up.

To update on my room, my loving family redid almost the entire room. You wouldn’t know that it was the same place. Now I’ve go a bed that I love to sleep in. I’ve got extra little hiding spots for all my junk and a room that is worth having. I have to thank them for all the hard hard work that they did. So THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!

Anyway, off to the gym…

Room

Jamie and I came up with an idea, to change everything to do with my room. We pretty much have a ruff ruff draft of what we are going to change. But we don’t really have a big picture of what we want to do with the room. She pretty much said, “we will go to ikea and other places and remodel your entire room”. Which sounded good to me.
However, now dad and I are going to take the crappy cottage cheese off the ceiling. But yet, Jamie comes home in two weeks, dad and I haven’t even started. And to make things even worse, dad is leaving town for a couple of days. (PS, give Travis a “big congrats hug”, and tell him the Ninja Turtles are in the mail).

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas of what would be good for my room, shout outs are welcome. Pictures are also a good thing as well…..

So as of late, the sports world has been, well entertaining. Everyone at my work was cheering on the Lakers, while I on the other hand have been a giant supporter of, well any team that could take them out. Some might call me a traitor to my state. But I once believed that basketball was about a team not just ONE person. I’m going to into the loathing of the team. But I will say this, I love the way that it all ended. I find it also quite funny, how many Laker fans shut up after the whole thing is over. If you live in California, or have been here during playoff season then you might know what I’m talking about. However, for those of you that don’t know, little Laker flags are mass produced very quickly. As soon as the game ended last night, I have not been able to locate one single flag.

The little obsessions

So I get these little obsessions with TV shows. The last one that I got hooked on was House. And many more before that. For the past couple of days, House DVDs have been my life. I love the no commercials. Even the DVR sucks compared to it. Anyway, if you haven’t watched the show, then do. As far as the medical shows go, House= #1. After that, I would have to go with SCRUBS.

So even though dad is gone/is back(i don’t know haven’t checked out his blog in a while), my GRANDparents will be in town. It will be good to see them. I haven’t caught up with them since last year. It will nice to catch up with them. I was planning on vacationing around this time, but other things got in the way. Of what I’ve been told though, we(Jamie, Rylan, Jaylee and I) might be getting to see them this summer.

I finally went to an Angel game and watched them win! For those of you that don’t know, I’ve been a curse for my favorite team. Every time that I would go, they would lose. But now, hopefully the curse is over with. It’s “good times” watching a game while my cousin is getting his head talked off. The guy that ended up being next to us couldn’t shut up. Having that and a very vocal mother on the other side of you is a bit entertaining. My guess is that’s why dad doesn’t go anymore….
